So I got this awesome Singer Featherweight from my grandmas friend, Mrs. Mortenson back in 2007. It was just before I had moved to San Francisco to start design school. It is probably one of my most favorite things I own, and if I'm not hand sewing (something I love to do) then I will most likely be using this machine. It makes a beautiful, simple straight stitch, and has yet to give up on me. And it looks great too!!
